5 stars! Exquisite! Danced by the company with admirable fervour; played by its principals with a grand enthusiasm and no little subtlety; rising splendidly to its heights in the Prokofiev score under Koen Kessels’ baton
Clement Crisp, THE FINANCIAL TIMES

The greatest love story of all: Kenneth MacMillan’s groundbreaking ballet is a 20th-century classic and a heartbreaking match for Prokofiev’s magnificent score. Set against a wonderful evocation of 16th-century Verona, Juliet (Sarah Lamb) and Romeo (Australia’s Steven McRae) fall passionately in love, but their families are sworn enemies, divided by a bitter feud. Can their love survive such hatred?

The screening will be presented by former Royal Ballet Principal Darcey Bussell.
